What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data set by a web site. When you access pages on that site your web browser
returns the cookie the web site sent.
There are two types of cookies.
- Session cookies are stored by your web browser in memory. Once you close your browser the session
cookie disappears. We use session cookies to associate you with data that needs to persist between
web pages such as your shopping cart.
- Persistent cookies are stored on your hard drive and have an expiration time limit associated with
them. They stick around even if you close your web browser on turn your computer off. If you are
one of our dealers we set one of these cookies when you log in. It helps us to make your ordering
more robust by extending the life your shopping cart. If your computer crashes or your
power goes out you won't loose the contents of your shopping cart if you return within 24 hours.
How can I turn them back on?
By default cookies are on in all browsers. The method used to turn them on and off varies from browser to
browser.
